1999 • Complete Works 1986-1989

In late 1998, after he'd finished remastering his own South Of Dakota CD, CW turned his attention to the old Sound System archives. Concerned that the old tapes might not last much longer, he painstakingly digitized, cleaned up, and pitch-corrected the three Sound System studio recordings: Busted (1987), Home Turf (1988), and the Variety Pack EP (1989).

Due to the 74-minute limitation on CD-R media (at the time), a few tracks had to be edited from their original form, and "What I Like About You" had to be deleted from the Variety Pack. CW hopes to remedy this in a later, 80-minute edition. In the interim, he put together a special release single of "For Sherry" with the uncut versions and the deleted song.
